| Villa Details : | Our furnished private Holiday House is situated at McCarthy Hill, West of Accra with a beautiful sea and hill view. It has a living space of 200qm including 5 bedrooms, a big Kitchen with washing machine, a dining area for 8, 3 wc’s, 2 bathrooms, a washing-corner, a storeroom , 2 sitting-rooms, 2 terraces (to north and south repectively) and a roughly 5.000qm garden with very beautiful tropical plants like mango trees, coconut trees, orange and citrus trees, pawpaws, bourgainvilla, oleanders, etc., towels, bedding, tv, toaster, a standby electrical generator, a BBQ, 2 coffee machines, CD/video/DVD-players and garden-furniture / 2 sun-beds with cushions are also available in the house. A mobile phone could also be made available if needed. Water-heaters are available in the bathrooms. All the sleeping rooms are equipped with ventilators. The house can accommodate 6 to 7 people comfortably. Airconditions are not necessary as there are always comfortable seabreezes reaching the house. A new Super Market near the next taxi-rank can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The second Super Market and an African Market can also be reached in 10 minutes with a taxi. An Internet Cafe is reached in 10 minutes by taxi. Our house ist ideal for self-catering. However, meals can be taken at the nearby Hillview Hotel which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Swimming pool is available there too. The road to the house is tarred but for 300m before it, is a bit rough. The nearby beautiful “Bojo Beach” can be reached in 15 minutes with a car / taxi. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own beach-towels. Change and washing of bedding on saturdays at 11:30 a.m. every 14 days. Weekly cleaning: saturdays at 11:30 a.m. It is recommended that guests hire a car for a more comfortable mobility in the country. AVIS and Europcar are represented in Accra/GHANA. But as mentioned above, it takes about 5 minutes from the house to reach the next taxi rank on foot. Security is available on the compound. NEW: Internet and a small safe are now available in the house. The house is rented for GBP 290.00 per week from 1st May to 31st August and GBP 300.00 from 1st September to 30th April. No surcharges. A deposit of 100.00 GBP should be made right on booking. The remaining rent should be paid 4 weeks before departure to destination. Rebate on residence for two weeks and longer. If you may cause damages to utensils, furniture or appliances, please inform Patricia(caretaker). The costs of repairs will be born by guest (s), please. We offer free transportation of Guests from the airport. However, cost of transportation back to the airport will be born by guests themselves. A long term hiring beyond three months is possible upon negotiation.
